GRAND HAVEN, MI

Bed & BREAKFAST

We invite you to experience the charm and hospitality of the Washington Street Inn. Our home is located in the beautiful resort town of Grand Haven, Michigan. It was built in 1902, by HJ Dornbos, a local prominent resident and business owner. His smoked fish business was reputed to have the first phone in town, having a listing on his stationary and invoices as: Phone: #1. The home is from the post Victorian era, and is a fine example of the American Four-Square style. Our inn displays leaded glass windows, original oak woodwork and hardwood floors from the turn of the last century.

The Inn has been thoughtfully renovated. Original architectural elements have been maintained, with updated furniture and decor. A balanced mix of comfortable new furnishings to lounge, along with beautiful antiques to provide interest and honor to the homes beginnings, provide a relaxing and pleasant setting.

Since opening the bed & breakfast in 1987, we have had the pleasure of welcoming thousands of guests into our home. Whether your intent is to enjoy a quiet getaway or experience the many events and attractions that Grand Haven and the surrounding areas have to offer, we invite you to be our guest at the Washington Street Inn.

-Tony & Michelle, Innkeepers
Enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Tony is an excellent host and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Location of the Inn relative to the attractions of Grand Haven is a definite plus. Highly recommend to potential visitors.
